I’m happy to say I have a long history with Becky Striepe‘s e-book (and now book), 40 Days of Green Smoothies. Way back in 2012, I reviewed 40 Days and hosted my very first giveaway ever. Then in 2014, I shared this wonderful book once again so that readers unfamiliar with Becky’s work could find out what they were missing. I’m so pleased for and proud of Becky for producing a softcover version of it.
40 Days provides the reader with 6 weeks of nutrition-packed smoothies like Mango Mama, Mexican Iced Chocolate, Peach Party, and Beet Greens and Berries. Each week begins with a shopping list that makes it easy for you to have everything you need.
For a tasty preview of the book, make Becky’s delicious and decadent-tasting (yet very healthy) Chocolate Covered Cherry Smoothie (the green in this one? parsley!) and enter the giveaway for a chance to win the 40 Days e-book so you can enjoy the remaining 39 smoothies! Bananas, Strawberries, Spinach, Apple Cider Vinegar 🙂
Berries, banana, cacao powder, hemp seeds, almond milk–eat this almost every morning!
My go to smoothie combination is frozen bananas (always! for added creaminess), with a chai spice mix (cinnamon, cloves, ginger, nutmeg). Then I top with tons of shredded coconut!
You are speaking my language on this one! Gotta have the bananas and chai spices are my absolute favorite :-).
I love smoothies in the colder months, it’s when I crave them most!
pineapple, lime, jalapeno, mint, cilantro and salt!!
That sounds fantastic!
My go-to is frozen banana, berries (any kind), coconut water, kale or spinach or some other green, a splash of hibiscus tea (always on hand), a squeeze of lemon or lime, and a pinch of green stevia. Always works for me.
Fresh bananas, frozen pineapple, frozen mango, kale, coconut extract,
I like to use a combination of frozen and fresh fruit along with some greens and a non-dairy milk to start.
My go to smoothie always includes frozen bananas. I buy them when they go on sale at the store. From there it can be anything but my favorite is melted vegan chocolate and a touch of sweetener.
My favorite is strawberries, banana and honey yogurt
I like more than 2 TB of greens in mine, but 2 C parsley, an apple, and a few dates makes a great one!
Frozen banana, chocolate protein powder, PB Fit and almond milk!
This looks so goood! I can’t wait to try it. I’m obsessed with my chocolate protein buckwheat smoothie at the moment.
