A Terminal Illness Primer for Caregivers: The E-Book

At long last my e-book is published and available on Amazon!  (Now life can return to normal…)

I want to thank Lisa, Lorna, Steve, Somer, Ganey, Anne, and Fran for being my readers and Amazon reviewers – your time is valuable and knowing you shared some of yours with me means a lot.  (Want to read and review a copy?  Let me know and I’ll send you a PDF copy of the primer in exchange for a review on Amazon. Email me.)  I could also use help spreading the word about this little e-book as the goal of publishing it is to help people in caregiving situations and to raise money for my brother’s brain cancer research fund at Huntsman Cancer Foundation.

So a bit about the e-book:  It’s available for $5.99 on Amazon in Kindle format here (or you can click on the handy-dandy widget on the right side of my blog) – and also as a downloadable PDF available for purchase.  (Click here for the PDF version.)    It’s a little over 80 pages; the content differs here and there from the posts published on this blog.  And again, 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this e-book will benefit the Charles A. Oliverio Fund at Huntsman Cancer Foundation.  Funding fuels research into a cure for glioblastoma multiforme – the type of brain cancer that took my brother’s life. Every dollar helps!

Here’s a list of the chapters/sections that have been added:

What is Glioblastoma Multiforme?
Advance Care Directive
Do Not Resuscitate Order
The Right to Die
Meditation or Prayer
Exercise
Protecting Your Loved One
Friend or Foe?

Private Care Organizations

Hooray! Great reviews so far, and no wonder. That’s a smart little ad you’ve got on the right hand side of the blog there, you’re so good at these things.

Just ordered a copy for my parents who care for my brother who has Parkinson’s. He’s not at the stage Charles was but its such a good resource I know they’ll appreciate it as I do 😉
Thanks for doing the work for us all ♥
